Open AI is is launching Atlas, their new application that integrates your internet browsing with Chat GPT capabilities
The advantage for the user is Chat GPT is built into the sidebar, allowing you to directly ‘collaborate’ with the AI tool and have it help you complete various tasks.
For Open AI, it should promote users to spend more time in Chat GPT and less time on other websites. Essentially, it is providing the user a more active and interactive browser.
One user of Atlas has described it as ‘elegant’ and ‘natural to use.’
Note that currently ChatGPT Atlas is only available on Mac. ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers will experience enhanced capabilities.
What does Atlas mean for marketers? As the application is uniting the search engine optimization with the user browsing, It will likely become even more critical that the content you present online is highly original, clear and relevant to the topic. Your new content should be immediately considered to be presented to the user.
